Well, looking back at some of my previous posts, it actually made me miss the blogging world. Facebook has basically taken over and I never even check my blog anymore, well except for today. So I thought I would update for 2008.
My title, I will not give up, is basically what I keep telling myself everyday lately. For the past month and a half I haven't felt like myself and have been to the Dr. more than I have in my whole life. My mind has been a battlefield and thanks be to God for helping me overcome my anxiousness.
I know God has a plan for my life and he would not bring me to this place and just give up on getting me to where he wants me to be. God has given me great passion for things: dance, kids, teens, family, friends, community, missions, and I know he has things he wants to see happen and will not happen unless I am obedient and wait on HIm.
I believe this month has been a test for me in many different areas, I am not sure that I got an A+ or even a B+ or maybe I completely blew it, but Ive relied on God many different times this past month. So I believe that I passed with flying colours. Don't get me wrong, I have doubted, questioned and pleaded with God, but in the end he has given me peace and I am that much closer to receiving the blessings He has for me and my family.
Whenever I start to feel my pulse racing or mind getting the best of me, I remember Phillippians 4:6-7 - Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thankgiving present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
So I want to give God all the praise He deserves, because He is good, He loves me and has good plans for my life. I pray that anyone who is struggling with something right now would give it to God and ask for His peace and guidance. "His grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness." 2Corinthians 12:9 He is a God that heals and restores and I will not give up!!!

Inspired By Yurr
Yes, this post is totally inspired by the motivation and eagerness of Scott Ingalls, to keep up with his new blog of a whole week. I too blogged frequently when it was all new and exciting and the possibilities were endless but, as time goes on the pressure, the loss of motivation, and the endless harrassment of not blogging enough gets to be too much. So Scott, I hope a few months or maybe even a year down the road, when your life gets busy or maybe even a new love interest happens that you will be able to fulfill your duties as frequent blogger. Not saying that you have been in the habit of totally deglecting your duties as a faithful commenter or just actually being around when you have better things going on, so I guess we are all safe in knowing you will never be considered a slogger. See the pressure is on already!
In all seriousness, you are awesome and I am encouraged and inspired by your posts and I think it is important for us all to realize that God is in control and if we continue to look to Him on a day to day basis and focus on His promises then each day will be more fulfilling than the one before. I read a quote yesterday that said: "Be the change you want to see". It really hit me, and made me think that if there is something that we think should be different or better then make it our goal to make it happen. You never know if we are the people that God has chosen to be the change we want to see!
P.S. I was so blessed Saturday night at Area worshipping with everyone was awesome. God Is Awesome, You guys are awesome!

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS!!!
Okay, so it has been a little more than four days since I have been unemployed and quite possibly a few since I have blogged. Basically I think I may be turning into a monthly blogger instead of a daily or weekly one. Actually I am only blogging right now because Kirk called my blog dead.(It worked ok!) So since I am officially making a new post I thought I would post my list of songs for the Creation car ride. The list is a bit longer than just one song, so are you ready?
1. Here in your arms - HelloGoodbye
2. My Song - Glass Tiger
There you have it, my list of songs. I figure my chances have doubled now for hearing the songI want. Anyhow, I blogged, I made a list, so now what?

Officially Unemployed!
Well, it is going on 4 days now that I have not been working and I can officailly say that I am enjoying it. I have been catching up on reading, thanks for the book Steph, it is really good. I have gone into the school a couple of times and have had a flock of kindergarteners swarm around me, it was so cute. They actually miss me. TEHE! I also visited a friend that I had hardly seen since I was working. So, I guess I have no excuse anymore for being too busy to blog or read or whatever it was that I was too busy to do before. Yay for time alone, peace and quiet without sports announcers talking in the background and PS2 games playing; at least untill 2:30 anyway! Now, I am going to go read or maybe take a hot shower or whatever I want to, so I shall blog you later!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
Well, the new year is well underway and so far going well. We had a great Christmas and as usual we all got way too much and spent way too much money. We went to Montreal over the holidays and watched the Canadiens beat Tampa Bay's butt. Yes Kirk Montreal won! I am not really much of a hockey fan but it is really cool being in a stadium with over 21,000 people all cheering for the same team. We were in Montreal for 5 days and had lots of fun except Chris and I were totally neglected by our children who are obsessed with their aunt and uncle. We knew it was only going to last a short time and I am happy they are so close with them.
Now that the routines are somewhat back to normal and everyone's returned to their jobs, mine will be ending in three weeks. It is a bittersweet thing I guess. I am kind of excited to be done, but I will miss the kids and I actually will miss being busy. I am hoping I will be more focused on youth though. I guess just spending my whole entire day with loud, active kids kind of ruined youth for me. So hopefully my motivation for that will return once I am done work.
I am thinking the new year is going to bring many different decisions that will have to be made. Chris and I have been discussing selling our house, getting out of debt and rebuilding. So that is #1. Number 2- that has been on my mind lately is about homeschooling either one or both of my children. For Isaiah I am realizing through different things, that teachers are ill equipped to teach children at the level that they are at. Especially from reading James Dobson's book Bringing Up Boys(thanks Cass) that teachers are not prepared for boys. Yes there are the so called "good" boys who sit quietly, pay attention and pick up things easily; but watch out if you can't sit still for a half an hour on a carpet with your legs folded, those boys are labeled disruptive, unfocused and flighty. Not that Isaiah is labeled that but I am thinking he is being taught in a way that is unappealing to him in Gr.1, so how is that going to affect him throughout his school years. Anyway, I will have a lot to pray about and would appreciate some prayer over these things.
Anywho, ta ta for now and I still love you all! P.S. Thanks Scott and Heidi for housesitting we appreciate it!!!

Once upon a .......
Once upon a time there lived a girl. She was not your ordinary girl, no, no, she liked to do strange accents, wrote funny stories that some people got angry at and there was something to do with monkeys and cars or something. Maybe she should join the Barenaked ladies! Anyway, this girl liked puppies, toast, and screamed at volleyball. She likes to scratch things in broad daylight and sometimes is confused whether to wear her shirt up or down or maayybbee even tucked in. I am honoring her today with a OoXxxOOoxxxXOo!(in a bad spanish accent)
P.S. I am sure I will not be posting again till next year because it has officially taken me an hour to give you what you got. Unless of course I choose to use the massive Mac that only pators can afford. Anywhos MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
